2:1 Transcoder The MaxPro 2 doubles your trunk capacity. The E1 model expands capacity from 30 to 60 channels (31 to 62 channels without signaling) per one E1 trunk, while the T1 model expands the carry capacity from 24 to 48 channels per one T1 trunk.
4:1 Transcoder The MaxPro 4 enables you to carry four times the number of voice channels on a single E1/T1 line. The E1 model increases the number of voice channels from 30 to 120 channels while the T1 model increases the number of voice channels from 24 to 96.
Scalable 5:1 6:1 7:1 8:1 Transcoders The MaxPro 4's open architecture provides the user with the ability to quickly expand from a 4:1 to an 8:1 compression unit. Users can gradually upgrade in one E1/T1 increment (5:1, 6:1, 7:1, 8:1), or directly from a 4:1 to an 8:1 compression unit without the expense of replacing existing equipment. This flexibility allows you to control your subscriber growth rate and your cost.
